Payroll Administrator

ERSG is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Administrator to join our Operations team in Bromley. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys juggling multiple priorities, and is enthusiastic about delivering high-quality administrative support across a dynamic business. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail as well as being a fast learner. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, with excellent organisational skills, a proven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Previous experience in an office environment, ideally in a contractor payroll/finance role is preferred, but full training will be provided. Responsibilities include:Processing of timesheet & expense information from various sources.Ensuring our contractors are paid accurately and in accordance with our weekly & monthly payment schedules.Processing of UK & International payments.Weekly & Monthly contractor payroll reconciliations.Uploading and reconciliation of payroll data to our Finance system.Verify timekeeping records to ensure compliance with company policies.Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.Support other operational initiatives and special projects as required.Internal collaboration to ensure any queries are resolved in a timely manner. Assistant Management Accountant

We are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to support the finance team in delivering accurate and timely management accounts, financial reporting, and analysis. The role involves assisting with month-end processes, analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial systems maintenance.This is an excellent opportunity for a bright, ambitious individual to make a real contribution towards improving and designing business processes. It provides exposure to a range of senior management across the business. Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.Perform balance sheet reconciliations and follow up and resolve outstanding issuesAssist with variance analysis and provide commentary on financial performance.Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with internal controls.Support the year-end audit process by preparing schedules and responding to auditor queries.Help improve financial systems and processes for greater efficiency.Liaise with internal departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis as requested by senior finance staff.Support budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering data and preparing reports.Ensure timely and accurate posting of transactions in the accounting system. Qualifications & ExperiencePart-qualified accountant (AAT, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) and actively pursuing studiesMinimum 1-2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).Experience with accounting software. Sage Intacct is desirable.Experience in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment or multi-currency environmentKnowledge of payroll, VAT, and intercompany transactions.
