ersg is working with a Renewable Energy business to support them in their search for a Grid Manager. This role will see you oversee their Grid Connection process across the UK and overseas (local talent will manage the relationship with DNOs etc.).

Core responsibilities will see you managing the interconnection process throughout the project development lifecycle (through to operations), ensuring the delivery of projects in accordance with local grid standards and code, supporting the development and delivery team throughout the project lifecycle, budgetary control, working with third-party contractors to ensure construction and commissioning of projects.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their ability to manage all internal and external stakeholders (Head of Delivery, Project Managers, Subcontractors (EPC, BoP), TSOs, DNOs etc.)

Applicants MUST possess a degree in Power Systems, Electrical Engineering or a similar discipline. You MUST also have the Right to Work in the United Kingdom.

Salary is dependent upon experience but includes a good bonus scheme, and a strong pension plan.

ersg is supporting a client who is leading the acquisition, delivery and management of Utility-Scale Energy Storage assets in the UK.They are searching for a Project Engineer to work closely with internal (Head of Engineering, Project Managers) and external stakeholders (Consultants etc.) to ensure that the development and engineering of projects is conceptually sound, managing the process through to an asset becoming operational. Solar Design Engineer

ersg are working with a leading EPC Contractor in the Renewable Energy sector to hire a Power Systems Specialist focused on Design. The client operates across the European market but is growing their UK team, and is winning more business across the Utility-Scale Solar (20MW or above) sector.This role will see the successful candidate designing LV and HV systems for Solar projects; handling SLDs from beginning to final design. You will also be managing grid connection applications, and liaising with the DNO, whilst ensuring grid compliance to G99 and G100 standards. You will also be instrumental in the specification of related plant (transformers, switchgear etc.) and supporting during various stages of the project - from procurement to commissioning.Candidates MUST have a degree in Electrical Engineering, or a suitable field. Be able to demonstrate their experience in LV & HV system design, and have been involved in a portfolio of Utility-Scale Solar projects in the UK.
