Key responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor HSE arrangements across a regional portfolio of sites and projects.

  • Provide advice on UK HSE legislation, CDM 2015 where applicable, risk assessments, RAMS and safe systems of work.

  • Undertake site visits, inspections and audits, following up on findings and improvement actions.

  • Support incident reporting, investigations and root-cause analysis, ensuring lessons learned are shared.

  • Work with contractors and subcontractors to monitor performance and maintain appropriate HSE standards.

  • Support project teams through construction and other relevant delivery phases, helping identify and control risks.

  • Monitor HSE data, prepare performance updates and identify areas requiring further attention.

  • Promote engagement, effective communication and continuous improvement across the region.

Experience and qualifications

  • Relevant HSE experience within renewable energy, power, construction, civil engineering, utilities or a comparable sector.

  • Experience working across multiple sites or projects.

  • Good knowledge of UK health and safety legislation, construction risks and contractor controls.

  • Practical experience with inspections, audits, incident investigations and HSE management systems.

  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.

  • IOSH membership

  • Confident stakeholder-management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both site-based and senior teams.

Our client, a prominent business within the Renewable Energy industry is adding an analytics platform their business.You will be critical to the business' ability to ensure the greatest yield from their BESS investments. Senior Project Engineer (BESS)

ersg is supporting a client who is leading the acquisition, delivery and management of Utility-Scale Energy Storage assets in the UK.They are searching for a Project Engineer to work closely with internal (Head of Engineering, Project Managers) and external stakeholders (Consultants etc.) to ensure that the development and engineering of projects is conceptually sound, managing the process through to an asset becoming operational. ersg is supporting a Clean Energy Infrastructure business, who are currently building a portfolio of over 1GW in BESS assets in the UK.They are searching for a Senior Asset Manager to ensure the operational efficiency of their investment in Energy Storage projects.
